Getting Started with Painmaster

Patch Placement: The placement of the patches is very important. Position one patch on either side of where the pain is. Whether horizontal or vertical, orientation doesn't matter. Do not use patches on the head or genital area.

Duration of Use: The duration of treatment will depend on the duration of the pain you have experienced. For persistent pain, the manufacturers recommend to start using the patches continuously (24/7) for three full days, followed by usage as needed. They also advise that, ideally, sessions should last 8 hours or more. Since Micro-Current Therapy works gradually, patience is key for optimal results.

Using Painmaster

For your initial treatment, keep the patches on for as long as comfortable, ideally up to 72 hours.

After the initial period, it's recommended to wear the patches for extended periods of 4-6 hours at a time, including during sleep or while at work.

Ensure the skin is clean before application, and shave any areas with excessive hair if necessary.

Please note, Painmaster is not a quick fix for instant relief; it may alleviate pain over time, but this tends to be a gradual process.

Pull gently each pad from the tab at the top to remove it. Store the pads in the plastic packaging provided (disconnect the wire first).

Restoring Adhesiveness

If the patches lose their stickiness, apply a droplet of warm water and spread it evenly to help restore their adhesive properties.

Usage and Cleaning

After 3-5 days of continuous use, remove the patches for 1 or 2 days. To clean the patches and restore adhesiveness, rinse the gel side with warm (optionally soapy) water and let it dry completely before reapplying. Do NOT sterilize or disinfect the patches.

Precautions with Water

Remove patches before washing or swimming. If, accidentally, the gel side gets wet, turn the patches upside down and let them air dry. Reattach the wire and battery once they are completely dry.

Isolated cases of skin irritation may occur at the electrode placement site, usually after long-term application of Painmaster patches.

If this happens, pause the treatment; the condition, known as erythema, usually resolves within a few hours to a few days.

Minor skin irritation has been documented in certain individuals with hypersensitive skin.

If problems persist, stop using Painmaster and consult with your doctor.

Applying Painmaster Patches

You can position the patches vertically or horizontally on either side of the pain area. Up to three sets can be used simultaneously if necessary. For severe lower back pain, consider placing two sets vertically on each side of the spine for optimal relief.

Unlike other therapies or medications, Micro-Current Therapy may alleviate pain by stimulating the body's natural healing mechanisms, rather than merely blocking pain signals.

Most of the time, neck pain is felt toward the middle, although it may lean slightly to the left or right. Start by locating the center of the discomfort and then apply one patch on either side.

For severe neck pain, consider wearing the patches continuously for 2-3 days, including while sleeping (but remove them during bathing).

You should NEVER place patches on the front of the neck.

Position the patches vertically or horizontally on either side of the center where the pain is.

You can use up to three sets simultaneously. The duration of use for joint pain depends on how long you've been experiencing it. Trial and error will help determine if Painmaster effectively relieves your specific joint pain.

You can wear the patches 24/7, including while in bed, but you may want to protect them from excessive rubbing.

Nerve Pain

Nerve pain can occur in different parts of the body. It is perhaps more common in the lower back, buttocks, and legs.

Trial and error may be the best approach to find the optimal patch placement. Painmaster is often most effective when applied to the lower spine, as nerve pain frequently originates from these areas (e.g., sciatic pain).

Remember that you won't feel any electrical sensations from the patches.

Elbow Pain

Elbow pain can often be relieved by applying patches to the outer side as shown on the left). If the pain is more on the inner side of the elbow, adjust the patch placement accordingly.

Remember that you can position the patches vertically or horizontally on either side of where the pain is.

When using Painmaster during sleep, wear a shirt, pants or a light bandage over the patches to minimise damage to them.
